National Grid continuously evaluates opportunities to enhance the reliability of its energy delivery networks. In the coming months, we’ll be working on a project in Far Rockaway, NY to improve our energy delivery system on Augustina Avenue and Minton Street. This project will upgrade the existing regulator station located on Augustina Avenue between Beach 12th Street and Minton Street in Far Rockaway.

Construction work will include roadway excavation, installation of new equipment and support, pressure testing, backfill and restoration. Augustina Avenue will be closed to traffic between Minton Street and Beach 12^th Street during work hours: Monday – Friday 7AM – 6PM. Street parking will not be permitted on Augustina Ave between Minton Street and Beach 12^th Street. For your safety, please stay away from the construction site and pay attention to signs around the work area.
