Clifton Gate Station is located at Willow Avenue and Bay Street in Staten Island within National Grid’s yard and the tie-in location is on the SE corner of the sidewalk on Willow Avenue. Multiple areas of the station will be upgraded including the installation of an Over Pressurization Protection Valve (OPP) to increase the safety and reliability of the network for our customers.

We continuously evaluate opportunities to enhance the reliability of its energy delivery networks. In the coming months, we’ll be working to upgrade our Clifton Gate Station located on Willow Avenue and Bay Street in Staten Island, NY.

This project will upgrade system integrity throughout your neighborhood, improving the reliability of service. Our crews will be upgrading existing infrastructure to increase the safety and reliability of our service. There will be minimal changes to traffic and parking during construction on Willow Avenue. For your safety, please stay away from the construction site and pay attention to signs around the work area.
