New York State Energy Bill Credits

In February 2024, Governor Kathy Hochul announced a $200 million energy bill credit for New York State that was included in the Fiscal year 2024 State Budget. This one-time credit will provide some relief on customers' bills.

No action is required to receive the bill credit(s). The credit(s) will appear on your energy bill with a message reflecting the one-time New York State Energy Bill Credit. Electric customers will receive $10.21 and Gas customers will receive $9.22. Customers with gas and electric will receive both credits.
