Infrastructure installation will take place on Powerhouse Road in Roslyn Heights and continue westbound until tying into existing infrastructure located at the Nassau/Queens Border.

The work involves the installation of new infrastructure to increase reliability of our heating infrastructure throughout Northwest Nassau County. Work will involve excavation of the roadway, installation of new infrastructure, temporary restoration of the roadway, testing of the new infrastructure, and final restoration of the roadway.

Work will begin July 2024 and will continue through Spring 2026. *Construction schedule subject to change.

Traffic will be impacted during work hours along Stewart Avenue.  Our team is working with the appropriate transportation authorities to ensure the safety of the streets where our work will take place and mitigate traffic issues to the greatest extent feasible. Signage will be posted as needed and traffic flaggers will be on-site during construction hours.

No. All work will take place within established utility corridors.

While our contractors will make efforts to keep disturbance to a minimum, there will be noise associated with this project. Most of that noise will occur while excavation is underway as contractors use heavy equipment.
