This work will involve the decommission and demolition of the existing regulator station. Construction of the new regulator station on Ridge Road has been completed. This is the final stage of this project.

No. This work will be managed so that our service will not be interrupted at all.
There will be minor traffic impacts to Dutch Broadway during work hours. The righthand lane of Dutch Broadway will be closed for approximately 120 feet on either side of Ridge Road.
No. Most of the work will take place within established utility corridors.
While our contractors will make efforts to keep disturbance to a minimum, there will be noise associated with this project. Most of that noise will occur while excavation is underway as contractors use heavy equipment and sounds from trucks backing up or idling.

Construction is set to start in May 2022 and will continue through August 2022. Restoration of the area will occur in late August 2022/ early September 2022. The Station will be in operation in the Fall 2022.
Traffic will be impacted during construction along the project route. Our team is working with the town to ensure the safety of the streets on which our work will take place and mitigate traffic issues to the greatest extent feasible. We will implement a traffic plan that includes a safe walkway for students to go to school, one lane, and one-way traffic on Ridge Road going northbound and westbound on Leighton Road. Detour signs will be posted near streets and a traffic flagger will be on-site during construction hours.
