About the Project
National Grid is making a significant investment to upgrade our infrastructure system in Northwest Nassau County. This project, known as the Northwest Nassau Integrity Project, will increase reliability, enhance safety and operational flexibility, and improve service throughout Long Island. To date, National Grid has installed three regulator stations in Roslyn Heights and Old Westbury, and nearly 11 miles of new infrastructure between Roslyn Heights, Albertson, East Williston, Mineola, and Garden City.
In the Summer of 2024, the final phase of infrastructure installation on Powerhouse Road in Roslyn Heights will commence and tie into existing infrastructure located near the Nassau/Queens Border.
