Last week upgrades on Route 106 and Brookville Road began. 

This week neighbors can expect to see:

• Continued excavations within the grassy area and/or shoulder on Route 106 & Brookville Road.
• Crane on-site to install infrastructure.
• No work on July 4th, 2024.
• Installation of upgraded infrastructure.
• Traffic pattern changes on Route 106 and Brookville Road. Please use caution when driving/walking near the work zone.

Last week work on Route 106 and Brookville Road was minimal as we prepare to mobilize for National Grid upgrades on Monday, June 17th.

Within the last two months, our contractor Hallen has been excavating for Jericho Water District (JWD) to perform their offsets, and PSEG, Verizon, and Altice have successfully offset their utilities to accommodate National Grid's upcoming work.

This week neighbors can expect to see:

• Jericho Water District (JWD) to perform offsets of their water utility for our upcoming National Grid upgrades.
• National Grid to begin mobilizing on/or around June 17, 2024.
