The Ayer Substation is located adjacent to the intersection of Park Street and Bishop Road. This will be accomplished by replacing, refurbishing, and upgrading the substation’s infrastructure as well as replacing the connection between the two recently replaced transmission line poles and the substation.

Expansion of the substation’s eastern limits towards Bishop Road and Park Street will also be included as part of the Project to provide adequate spacing for substation equipment and possible future upgrades. The Project also includes ongoing distribution line work along Bishop Road and Park Street.
