New York State Energy Bill Credits
In February 2024, Governor Kathy Hochul announced a $200 million energy bill credit for New York State that was included in the Fiscal year 2024 State Budget. This one-time credit will provide some relief on residential and small business customers' bills.
No action is required to receive the bill credit(s). The credit(s) will appear on eligibly Small Business energy bills with a message reflecting the one-time New York State Energy Bill Credit. Electric customers will receive $10.21 and Gas customers will receive $9.22. Small Business customers with gas and electric will receive both credits.
