11:00 p.m. Update: As the winter storm continues to impact Upstate New York, National Grid has more than 3,300 personnel responding to power outages caused by downed limbs, trees and poles. Our crews have restored service to more than 70,800 of the 112,300-plus customers affected by the storm and will continue to work around the clock. Forecasts call for powerful winds, freezing temperatures and lake effect snow across Upstate New York. Prepare for power interruptions by charging your mobile devices.
