Categories:
For the second consecutive year, National Grid’s New York Gas Complex Capital Construction team has joined forces with Stony Brook University’s Diversity Professional Leadership Network (DPLN) program. This year-long externship provides mentorship and hands-on experience to undergraduate students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. Through National Grid’s Social Impact initiative, Grid for Good, students were offered a one-week paid, hybrid work experience, created for workforce development.
This impactful partnership was recently highlighted in Newsday, which covered how companies are preparing for Generation Z in the workforce.
