National Grid Assisting Buffalo Residents to Prepare for Winter
Categories:
At an Oct. 23 Winter Preparedness Fair, National Grid Consumer Advocates Kaamalal Robinson, left, and Stephanie Knapp provide Buffalo residents with information about the company's Energy Affordability Program.
As part of National Grid’s ongoing efforts to provide value and resources to customers in the communities we serve, the company is participating in Winter Preparedness Fairs in Buffalo.
The goal of the events - which align with National Grid's Project C pillar to Care of our Communities - is to provide residents with information and supplies to ensure that they’re prepared for the upcoming winter.
On Oct. 23, National Grid was joined by health care agencies, FeedMore WNY and other companies at the second of nine events to be held at various locations in the city through November. Attendees received winter supply kits, including knit hats, information about local shelters and resources that are available during the colder months.
Residents also were able to learn more about and register for initiatives that provide assistance, including National Grid’s Energy Affordability program.
