"Economic development is at the heart of the work we do at the Brooklyn Chamber. The zoning vision for the “The City of Yes” outlined by Chair Garodnick will assist the Brooklyn Chamber in its work to grow and support the small business community across the borough,” said Dina Rabiner, Brooklyn Chamber VP Economic Development & Strategic Partnerships.
National Grid was proud to cosponsor the Brooklyn Chamber Economic Development Breakfast on September 14 held at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. Over 140 attendees had the opportunity to hear from NYC Department of City Planning Director and Chair of the City Planning Commission, Dan Garodnick outline Mayor Adam’s plan to use the city’s zoning tools to support small businesses, create affordable housing, and promote sustainability — part of his vision for New York to become a more inclusive, equitable “City of Yes.” Following was an informative Q&A session facilitated by Brooklyn Chamber Board member and former Councilman Ken Fisher.
