A 41-year tradition, the Great Irish Fair is about celebrating family, faith, and culture. The Fair celebrates a day filled with music, dance, food, fellowship, and spirit. The Fair also celebrates and supports education in Brooklyn and Queens with all proceeds from the event going to support Catholic education.
Each year, a group of people are honored during the event for their contributions to Brooklyn’s Irish community. This year, Renee McClure, National Grid’s Director of Community and Customer Engagement received the Thomas Cuite Memorial Award for her leadership and service to the community.
National Grid is a long-standing sponsor of the Great Irish Fair which was held in the Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood. Company representatives attended, providing information about energy affordability and energy savings programs.
