“National Grid is proud to be able to give back to the brave first responders who serve our communities each and every day,” said Steve Woerner, New England President, National Grid US. “The work that is done by first responders is incredibly important, and our first responder Wednesday program with the Worcester Red Sox is one way that National Grid can say thank you.”

National Grid has a longstanding commitment to supporting first responders. The Company offers first responders free online utility safety training programs and materials, a dedicated safety training resource for firefighters, law enforcement and other emergency responders.  By completing the training modules, first responders can earn a certificate demonstrating knowledge of utility safety.
